Using the card on your phone:
- Apple Wallet — Add the card to Apple Wallet and use Tap-to-Pay at any participating business's contactless terminal.
- Google Wallet — Same Tap-to-Pay capability for Android users.
Prefer not to use your phone wallet? Simply provide the 16-digit card number, expiration date, and CVV for manual entry at the terminal, just like any credit card.

Recipient Gets an Email
Your gift recipient receives a link to their Canton Card. They can add it to their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet or simply save the card number to use it manually.
Use at Participating Businesses
At checkout, they tap to pay from their mobile wallet or provide the 16-digit card number, which is processed just like any Mastercard credit card. If the balance doesn't cover the full total, they can pay the rest another way.

Does the card expire?
The Canton Card does not have an expiration date. However, a $3.00 monthly inactivity fee applies after 12 consecutive months without any use. Making any purchase with the card resets the clock.
Does the recipient need a physical card?
No. The Canton Card is fully digital. Recipients can tap to pay from their Apple or Google Wallet or provide the 16-digit card number, expiration date, and CVV for manual entry at the point of sale.
What if the purchase is more than the card balance?
No problem. The merchant will run the card for the available balance, then collect the remaining amount via cash, credit, or debit. This is a standard split-tender transaction.
How do I check my card balance?
The gift email includes a link to check the remaining balance at any time. You can also visit the card program website to look it up.
What amounts are available?
You can load any amount from $5 to $250. Choose whatever fits the occasion.
Can I send a card to someone as a gift?
