The Salvation Army is a Christian organization with a heart to help those less fortunate. They have Sunday morning and evening worship services and also have a soup kitchen that serves hot, nutritious meals every Sunday evening and Monday noon. They offer a variety of youth programs from Day Camp and overnight Camp in the summer to an after school program during the school year. The Salvation Army also offer a Senior Citizens program every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and a Women’s Club meets every Tuesday evening. All are welcome! When funding is available they assist with rent and utilities to those in need. They also have an onsite food pantry that assists with food and also help those in need of clothing or transportation needs.
