Event Categories: Arts & Culture First Friday Kid-Friendly
The Parts to the Whole exhibit explores the process of art-making by focusing on the raw material ‘parts’ of the medium which the artists combine to create the ‘whole’ of the finished works. It offers the chance to see the raw materials next to the finished work, helping viewers to appreciate the artists’ inspiration, hard work, and skill used in the creation of the final pieces. The exhibit features artwork by Liz Maugans, Jenniffer Omaitz , Jacques Jackson, and Stephen Tornero.
Parts to the Whole is a group exhibit curated by Michele Waalkes at The Hub Art Factory in Canton, OH. The show opens on the August First Friday, August 7th, and runs through August 28th. There will be a closing reception on August 28th from 7-9 pm.
