Downtown Canton turns into an open-air gallery and art festival on Friday, September 4, 2026. Sidewalks become studios, storefronts become stages, and the whole district gets a little louder, a little brighter, and a lot more colorful.

See art created by local artists in real time. Painters, live artists, and Hub Art Factory regulars.

• Andy Tokarsky brings his signature mystical, dream-realm style along with flow arts and improv flair.
• Andrew Wells, an Alliance High School and Columbus College of Art and Design grad, is known for his community-focused exhibitions and created pieces for Stark County Job & Family Services’ 2026 Heart Gallery adoption-awareness exhibition.
• Sally McAfee brings layered, emotion-driven color work fresh off her Full Saturation solo show.
• Eve Neiswander, known for live and blacklight body-painting showcases, and Bella Feliciano round out the art festival showcase.

 
Watch them strut. Velvet Runway: Fashion in the Street brings runway energy straight to downtown sidewalks.

Dance to all the music! Don’t miss:

• The En-Rich-Ment drum line, steel drums, and guitar band.
• Nikolina DJ Diva take over 4th Street with a dance party built to keep feet moving.
• Farasha Fusion Dancers bring bold costuming and movement to the mix.
• Beach City Postal Service deliver rock and grunge-leaning music with original and tribute sets.
• Buskers Jason Sansbury, acoustic guitar, and Pixi Spinz, flow artist.

 
For the night’s biggest music draw, catch Anya Van Rose, Canton’s own dream-pop/bubble-grunge four-piece, live at Centennial Plaza, 5:30–7 p.m.

Be mystified. The Alans Magic & Mentalism act brings 20+ years of polish to the street, with roaming interaction and short stage-style sets throughout the evening.

Bring the kids. The Kids Zone is back with inflatables, as always, plus DJ Bullet Tooth keeping the energy up all night. Sponsored by IBEW Local 540.
