Project REBUILD, Inc.

Project REBUILD is a 501(c)(3) founded in 1999 that works to re-engage at-risk youth to complete their high school diploma or GED and learn marketable construction skills through the rehabilitation of low income housing. As a YouthBuild USA Affiliate, participants spend 50% of their time pursuing their education goals, 40% of their time learning hands-on construction skills and 10% of their time on life skills lessons. Our life skills curriculums include job readiness, financial literacy, relationship skills and soft skills required for their future success. The ultimate goal for our participants is that they leave our program and successfully enter the workforce or post secondary education.

In addition to the job training program mentioned above, our organization is also involved in community development and particularly the development of low to moderate income housing. Over the past thirteen years, Project REBUILD has been responsible for the construction or rehabilitation of over 40 units of housing; four of those being new construction throughout Stark County.
