Michael P. Gill is the retired district president of Key Bank. His banking career spans 34 years with Harter Bank, Society Bank and Key Bank. Mike earned his Bachelor of Arts in business administration in 1967 at Ohio Northern University and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University. Presently, he is the director of the Canton Development Partnership, a division of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, which manages the activities of Canton Tomorrow Inc., Downtown Canton Land Bank and the Downtown Canton Special Improvement District.
Active in the community, Mike is the former chairman of the board of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, Stark Development Board, Cultural Center for the Arts, United Way of Central Stark County and Leadership Stark County. In addition, he was past general chairman of the 1988 Pro Football Hall of Fame Festival, 1992 campaign chairman of the United Arts Fund Drive, chairman of the 1994 United Way of Central Stark County Campaign and 1996 campaign chairman of the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges for Stark/Tusc. Counties. Presently, he is chairman of the Stark County Port Authority. He remains a board member of Mercy Medical Center, Stark Development Board, and the United Way of Greater Stark County.
Krista Shuff Schumacher

Krista Shuff Schumacher works for the Canton Development Partnership and heads up many of the events that take place downtown, including Taste of Canton, Zing in the City, Light Up Downtown, Canton Blues Fest, Vintage Canton and the 4th Street Concert Series. She will also organize and lead the Canton Farmers’ Market and manage the Downtown Community Garden.
Schumacher began her career in the entertainment industry in 1995, working primarily on large scale productions at venues such as Blossom Music Center, Quicken Loans Arena and Playhouse Square. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Arts in business and organizational communication, and continued her education at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, refining her skills in digital design. She then continued her career working in marketing and providing sales support upon graduation all while continuing to work with large touring shows at local venues.
She worked for the Canton Palace Theatre beginning in 2009 as technical director, where she produced and managed hundreds of events per year, entertaining over 200,000 patrons. Upon taking this position, the Akron native became a strong advocate for the betterment of downtown Canton and has given her time both as a volunteer and a patron of the many activities and businesses that Canton relies on to continue its great strides towards the future.
She currently sits on the board for a non-profit organization that produces the show “Old Fashioned Canton Christmas,” which aims to end hunger during the holidays and is a member of ystark! Schumacher has also produced a photography exposition at the Canton Museum of Art titled “Iceland: Naturally Beautiful.”

Annette Rosenberger is the Administrative Specialist for the Canton Development Partnership, a division of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and has been with the Partnership since 2001. Prior to joining the Chamber, Annette spent 25 years honing her administrative skills while working for law firms in Cleveland and Canton.
